On May 7, Hebei Steel Group Hengban Co. commenced the construction of its cold rolling project in Wuyi Economic Zone.
Hengban Co.'s CRC project is an important strategic measure for Hebei Steel Group in reorganization and restructuring, which is expected to have great positive impacts on Hebei Steel Group and Hengshui city.
The total investment of the project will be around RMB 2.17 billion ($320 million). And the Phase I project will cost RMB 593.7 million ($87 million), with a designed annual capacity of 250,000 mt of cold rolled coils.
