SteelOrbis Shanghai Handan Steel may be expected to increase its cold rolled galvanized steel exports to European market with a new license obtained. China's Hebei province based Handan Iron and Steel Group (Handan Steel) has recently obtained “green license” from European authorities. The license represents that Handan Steel's products are environment friendly, and enable the company to export its cold rolled galvanized coils freely to Europe. According to the test report of Societe Generale de Surveillance (SGS) Tianjin Branch in China, the contents of cadmium, plumbum, hydrargyrum, hexavalent chrome, PBBs, and PBBEs/PBDEs contained in the CR galvanized coils manufactured by Handan Steel are all in compliance with the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
