Handan signs iron ore deal with BHP Billiton

According to recent news in the market, China, Hebei province based steel producer Handan Iron & Steel signed an additional long term iron ore deal with Australian mining company BHP Billiton following the expiration of an eight-year iron ore deal with the Australian company. In line with the deal, BHP Billiton will supply 2 million tons of iron ore to Handan and the first delivery will be made during the second half of current fiscal year.
