Finished steel production of China keeps rising

China's steel plants kept on feeding their furnaces in August, adding more than 1.3 million tons to their finished steel output. The country produced 32.7 million tons of steel products in August, up 27.6 percent year on year and 4.3 percent month on month. The top three provinces in terms of production were Hebei (5.82 million tons), Jiangsu (3.72 million tons) and Shandong (2.63 million tons). These provinces of northeastern China accounted for 37.2 percent of China's total finished steel production in August.
