SteelOrbis Shanghai The State Environment Protection Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission and other relevant authorities recently carried out restructuring works on 1,086 enterprises in the ferroalloy and coke industry, and shut down 231 of them. Currently, the supply of ferroalloy and coke exceeds the demand in China. Most of the enterprises which have been shut down are small scale ferroalloy and coke producers with inefficient production.
