EZDK extends tender deadline for February/March production

Towards the end of January, the Egyptian mill EZDK invited bids for its February/March production for a total of well above 100'000 mts. Under the tender, EZDK received bids ranging from $280/mt to $320/mt and the highest paying markets at that date appeared to be Vietnam and China. SteelOrbis understands that the mill now has extended the validity of its tender till end of this week and has asked the traders to revert with at least $350/mt FOB St L/S/D El Dhekila plus EZDK extras for China. Vietnam is allowed a small discount.
