Evraz NA appoints new Executive VP of long products

Portland, Oregon-based Evraz Inc. North America announced Friday the addition of Conrad Winkler as Executive Vice President for the Long Products Group.

Winkler will oversee all commercial and manufacturing activities for the Long Products Group, which is currently the top rail producer in North America, according to the company's press release.  He was previously a partner at Booz & Company, a global management consulting firm, focusing on manufacturing-intensive industries such as trucks, auto, steel, aerospace, construction equipment and industrials.

"We are very excited about the depth of experience Conrad brings to this executive role," said Mike Rehwinkel, President and CEO of Evraz North America. "With his proven leadership and deep knowledge of the industry, he will help the Long Products Group meet its potential, and further solidify Evraz as a commercially driven enterprise."
