Turkey's flats producer Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. (Erdemir) is planning to stop its rolling mill No.2 for the second time in order to carry out maintenance works scheduled within the scope of its modernization activities. The producer's modernization activities will be completed with the conclusion of the maintenance works, which are to last for 15 days beginning from February 28. As a result of the works, the company aims to increase the current three million mt per annum capacity of the rolling mill to 3.65 million mt. Moreover, the facility's production limits are expected to be improved sharply through the maintenance work.
