Erdemir to collect orders for first quarter of 2004
Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari T.A.S (ERDEMIR) has announced that it is going to collect production orders for the months of January, February and March of year 2004. Accordingly, the flat rolled production orders for the above mentioned period have to be submitted to Erdemir latest by November 12, 2003. Erdemir stated that the price list which is in effect as of October 27, 2003 will be applicable for the aforementioned orders. For the orders to be given for the first quarter, the discount rate to be applied on prepayment sales is fixed as 0%, while financing rate to be applied on deferred payment sales is fixed as 3% on TL basis, 0.7% on USD basis. These rates are valid for orders for period orders, for excess production stock orders and for free stock orders.
