CISA mills’ crude steel output totals 18.4967 million mt in mid-April

In mid-April (April 11-20) this year, the 101 medium-size and large steel enterprises in China - all members of the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) - produced 18.4967 million mt of crude steel, 17.4319 million mt of pig iron, 17.3435 million mt of finished steel and 3.4795 million mt of metallurgical coke, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In the current year up to April 20, China produced 247 million mt of crude steel, 216 million mt of pig iron and 323 million mt of finished steel and 131 million mt of metallurgical coke, the CISA stated.
