Chinese biggest joint venture commences operation

Recent news in the market reveals that Chinese biggest joint venture ANSC-TKS Galvanizing Co Ltd has recently commenced operations in Dalian. Through this mill, China will not be dependent on imported galvanized sheet. Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation and Thyssenkrupp Stahl AG invested $180 million for the plant, which has annual galvanized sheet production capacity of 400'000 tons.
