China’s CRC imports rise 74 percent in September

According to the custom statistics, China's CR coil export volume in September reached 107,200 mt, down 340,000 mt or 76.03 percent year on year, totaling $103 million in value, down $421 million or 80.37 percent compared with the same month last year. The average CR coil export price was $958.48/mt. Total January-September exports for this product reached 481,700 mt, down 2.2269 million mt or 82.22 percent, amounting to $455 million in value, down $2.746 billion or 85.8 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, the country's CR coil imports in September stood at 530,000 mt, up 225,300 mt or 73.92 percent year on year, totaling $392 million in value, up $26 million or 7.18 percent compared with the same month last year. The average import price was $740.18/mt. Total January-September CR coil imports reached 3.5396 million mt, up 387,100 mt or 12.28 percent, amounting to a value of $2.56 billion, down $626 million or 19.66 percent year on year.
