China Steel to increase Q3 prices
Recent market news reveals that, Taiwanese steel producer China Steel is planning to increase third quarter prices by 10% due to strong demand. The price for major products such as hot rolled coil is stated to be increased by NTD 1'500 (approx. $45). The price of hot rolled coil was around NTD 14'200 ($423) in the second quarter. The prices are stated to be increased to eliminate the difference between prices of the company and the prices in international markets.
