Bulgaria’s metal manufacturing PPI down 4.3 percent in October

According to the latest data released on November 30 by the Bulgarian National Statistical Institute (NSI), in October this year Bulgaria's producer price index (PPI) decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month, following a month-on-month rise of 1.5 percent in the previous month.

In October, domestic prices fell in manufacturing by 0.1 percent month on month, while they increased by 8.9 percent compared to the same month of 2010. In manufacturing, a significant price decrease was seen in the manufacture of basic metals, falling by 12.3 percent on month-on-month basis and by 4.3 percent on year-on-year basis.
