Average second-grade coke price in China up 3.3 percent in mid-Feb

In mid-February (February 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,350.0/mt ($201.8/mt) and RMB 1,970.8/mt ($291.1/mt), remaining stable and increasing by RMB 62.5/mt ($9.2/mt) or 3.3 percent, respectively, both compared to prices in early February (February 1-10), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
