Average second-grade coke price in China up 10 percent in late Dec

In late December (December 21-31) last year, the average price in China of coking coal was recorded at RMB 1,150.0/mt ($173.5/mt), remaining stable, while the average price of second-grade metallurgical coke was recorded at RMB 2,193/mt ($337.4/mt), up 10.0 percent, both compared to prices in mid-December (December 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
