Amurmetall nears completion of startup works at first pipe rolling mill

The Russian steelmaker Amurmetall has announced that it in the process of completion of the startup works at its first pipe rolling mill.

The plant constructed its first pipe rolling mill at a total cost of Ruble 175.5 million ($7.074 million).

The pipe rolling mill, with annual production capacity of 60,000 mt, will allow Amurmetall to produce pipes in diameter from 20 mm to 89 mm with round, triangle and rectangle section. The production capacity of the mill may be increased in the future depending on demand.
