Iranian steelmaker Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe produced 425,000 mt of HRC in the last Iranian year (ended March 20), up 35 percent compared to 315,000 mt in the previous Iranian year - according to the newly published figures from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Ahwaz Rolling and Pipe, located in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahwaz city, has an annual nominal capacity of 700,000 mt of HRC but has been unable to operate at full capacity due to certain financial problems as well as shortages of slab.
