According to the data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), Japanese automobile production in November this year totaled 838,135 units, increasing by 36,166 units or 4.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, after a year on year increase of 20.3 percent recorded in October.
Domestic sales in November this year in Japan stood at 395,567 vehicles, up 22.2 percent as compared with the same month of the previous year. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in November amounted to 442,672 units, up by 10,157 units or 2.3 percent year on year, increasing compared to the same month of the previous year for the fourth consecutive month. The revenue generated by these exports amounted to $13.8 billion, including $10.2 billion for vehicles and $3.7 billion for parts. This is an increase of $1.1 billion or 8.5 percent as compared with $12.76 billion recorded for the same month of the previous year.
