Chinese steel giant
Baosteel Group has announced that its 300M high-strength steel for application in landing gear of the Chinese-made C919 large passenger aircraft has been approved by Chinese state-owned aerospace manufacturer Commercial Aircraft Corporation of
China Ltd (Comac). The steel in question was produced by Shanghai-based Baosteeel Special Steel. All performance indicators were found to be in line the requirements of Comac.
