Baosteel to deliver S355 thick plate to Total

Major Chinese steel group Baosteel has stated that it has just finished the production of over 1,400 mt of S355 thick plates within the scope of a contract signed with French-headquartered international petroleum giant Total.

The products in question will be supplied to Total's Usan offshore oil drilling project in Nigeria. This is the first time Total will use Chinese origin steel products in an offshore oil drilling project.
