The US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its final determination Thursday in the sunset review of the antidumping (AD) order on welded large diameter line pipe from Japan.

The ITC made an affirmative determination that revocation of the order would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.  The vote was five to one.

Accordingly, because the US Department of Commerce had previously made an affirmative determination in its sunset review of this order, the AD order on welded large diameter line pipe from Japan will remain in force for a further period of five years.
