The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with an August anniversary date on Monday.
The DOC has initiated the following administrative reviews of AD orders involving steel products:
(a) Tin Mill Products from Japan (A-588-854)-JFE Steel Corporation; Kawasaki Steel Corporation; Nippon Steel Corporation; NKK Corporation; and Toyo Kohan Co., Ltd.
(b) Light-Walled Rectangular Pipe and Tube from Mexico (A-201-836)-Maquilacero S.A. de C.V.; and Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos S.A. de C.V.
(c) Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from Korea (A-580-816)-Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd.; Dongkuk Industries Co., Ltd.; Haewon MSC Co., Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; LG Hausys, Ltd.; LG Chem, Ltd.; Pohang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd./Pohang Coated Steel Co., Ltd.; and Union Steel Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
(d) Certain Small Diameter Carbon and Alloy Seamless Standard, Line and Pressure Pipe from Romania (A-485-805)-ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Roman S.A.
(e) Steel Nails from China (A-570-909)-more than 350 Chinese producers and exporters.
The period covered by these reviews is from August 1, 2010 through July 31, 2011.
The DOC has also initiated the following administrative review of a CVD order involving steel products:
(a) Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from Korea (C-580-818)-Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd.; Hyandai HYSCO; and Pohang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. / Pohang Coated Steel Co., Ltd. (POSCO)
The period of review is calendar year 2010.
