On October 25, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review for imports of stainless steel wire rods (SSWR) from South Korea. The review covered the period September 1, 2004, through August 31, 2005. In the preliminary results dated October 11, 2006, the DOC determined that the companies subject to this review made US sales of SSWR at prices less than normal value. Moreover, in the less-than-fair value (LTFV) investigation, the DOC determined that Changwon was affiliated with Dongbang through a close supplier relationship and that both companies should be treated as one entity. Accordingly, the preliminary weighted-average duty margin existing for the period September 1, 2004, through August 31, 2005, was 9.77 percent for Changwon/Dongbang. Based on the comments received, the DOC has decided to make changes in the calculations for the final results. Accordingly, the final results of this review differ from the preliminary results. The final weighted-average duty margin existing for the period September 1, 2004, through August 31, 2005 is as follows:
Producer/exporter Margin Changwon/Dongbang.............................9.06%
