The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has issued a notice that its findings made on July 30, 2004, concerning the dumping of cold drawn and annealed stainless steel round wire, up to and including 0.300 inches (7.62 mm) in maximum solid cross-sectional dimension, originating in or exported from South Korea, Switzerland and the United States of America, and the subsidizing of such products originating in or exported from India, are scheduled to expire on July 29, 2009.
The CITT invites any firm, organization, person or government wishing to participate as a party in these proceedings to file a notice of participation with the Secretary of the CITT on or before October 9, 2008.
Parties requesting or opposing the initiation of an expiry review of the said findings shall file written public submissions with the Secretary not later than October 15, 2008.
An expiry review at the request of any firm, organization, person or government will not be initiated unless the CITT decides that there is sufficient information to indicate that it is warranted.
The CITT will issue a decision on November 12, 2008, on whether an expiry review is warranted. If it decides that a review is not warranted, the findings will expire on their scheduled expiry date. The CITT will issue its reasons not later than 15 days after its decision. If the CITT decides to initiate a review, it will issue a notice of expiry review.
