Turnover in Turkish metals manufacture up 28.27 percent in April

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in April this year increased by 19.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and was down 4.3 percent over March.
 
In April, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey improved by 28.27 percent year on year and registered a slight decrease of 0.55 percent over the previous month.
 
Meanwhile, in the month in question, the monthly industrial new orders index for the manufacture of basic metals regressed by 4.53 percent over March and was up 28.49 percent year on year.
