New industrial orders of Turkish metals manufacture up 7.53 percent in Feb

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in February this year increased by 16.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and was up 5.3 percent over January.
 
In February, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey improved by 10.88 percent year on year and registered an increase of 4.65 percent over the previous month.
 
Meanwhile, in the month in question, the monthly industrial new orders index for the manufacture of basic metals rose by 0.88 percent over January and was up 7.53 percent year on year.
