According to the provisional foreign trade statistics compiled by the Turkish Exporters' Association (TIM), in January this year Turkey's steel exports totaled $1.26 billion in value, increasing by 29.03 percent year on year and down 11.56 percent as compared to the previous month.
On the other hand, in the 12 months up to the end of January Turkey's steel export value came to $15.6 billion, rising by 23.5 percent year on year.
