Taiwan’s basic metal export orders up 2.65 percent in October

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in October this year Taiwan's basic metal export orders amounted to $2.48 billion, decreasing by 0.84 percent compared to the previous month and up 2.65 percent compared to October 2010.
Meanwhile, the country's basic metal export orders in the first 10 months of this year amounted to a value of $25.7 billion, up 16.42 percent compared to the same period last year.
