According to the information provided by Spanish Automobile and Truck Manufacturers' Association (Anfac), in 2012 new commercial vehicle registrations in Spain declined by 23.1 percent year on year to 14,699 units. In December last year, new registrations of industrial vehicles declined 43.8 percent year on year, with 775 units registered.

Anfac said that the commercial vehicle segment is one of the sectors most affected by the lack of funding and industrial activity. Falling demand from the construction sector, in which activity levels have declined sharply, has been reflected directly in the number of registrations of commercial vehicles.
