The Spanish industrial turnover index in July this year decreased by two percent year on year, while the calendar adjusted index went down by 6.1 percent year on year, according to data issued by the Spanish national statistics office (INE).
On the other hand, the new orders index in the month of July decreased by 2.8 percent, while the calendar adjusted index dipped by 2.8 percent, both year on year.
In the first seven months of current year, the Spanish industrial turnover index recorded a three percent fall, while the new orders index went down by 2.4 percent, both year on year.
In the metallurgy and iron and steel manufacturing sectors, the turnover index decreased 8.6 percent in July and 11.6 percent in January-July, while the new orders index dipped by 9.3 percent and 12.5 percent in respective sectors, all year on year.
