Japanese auto output up six percent in November

According to the data provided by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), in November this year Japanese automobile production (including passenger cars, trucks and buses) totaled 788,344 units, increasing by 44,943 units or six percent compared to the same month of 2014, following 16 consecutive months of declines on year-on-year basis.

Domestic automobile sales in November of the current year in Japan stood at 388,817 vehicles, down 6.6 percent as compared with the same month of 2014. In the meantime, the country's automobile exports in November amounted to 414,870 units, up by 46,761 units or 12.7 percent year on year.
