German new vehicle registrations up three percent in Nov

In November this year, new vehicle registrations (including passenger cars and commercial vehicles) in the German market increased by 1.06 month on month and by 3.01 percent year on year, according to the data released by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of this year Germany's new vehicle registrations fell 4.85 percent year on year, totaling 3,013,000 units.
 
However, during November this year a total of 432,400 new vehicles were exported, up 11.47 percent compared to November 2012 and rising 16.96 percent month on month. In the first 11 months of the year, German new vehicle exports amounted to 4,100,580 units, increasing 1.7 percent year on year.
 
According to the VDA, in November this year 568,300 vehicles rolled off production lines in Germany, which represents a year-on-year increase of 12.03 percent and an 18.44 percent increase from October. German vehicle output in the first 11 months of 2013 amounted to 5,348,110 units, showing a 1.04 percent increase from the same period of the previous year.
