According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year the import price of iron ore decreased by 18.5 percent year on year in Germany, while it was slightly up by 0.5 percent as compared to June this year. In July, the import price of nickel fell by 18.2 percent compared to the same month of last year and was up by 1.3 percent month on month.
In July, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany fell by 6.5 percent year on year, but rose by 1.5 percent compared to the previous month.
