German iron ore import prices fall further in July

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year the import price of iron ore decreased by 19.9 percent year on year in Germany, following the 8.5 percent year-on-year decrease recorded in the previous month, while it was down 12.8 percent as compared to June this year. In July, the import price of nickel fell by 19.2 percent compared to the same month of last year and was down by 4.2 percent month on month.

In July, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany fell by 9.7 percent year on year and was down two percent compared to the previous month.
