European new commercial vehicle market shrinks 12.3 percent in January

In January this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in European Union member states (EU-27) declined by 12.3 percent compared to January 2009, the 21st consecutive month in which a year-on-year decline has been seen, while a drop of 15.69 percent was registered as compared to December 2009. The total new commercial vehicle registrations stood at 123,527 units.
