On August 24, China's Ministry of Commerce stated that Canada's domestic steel industry has applied to the Canada Border Services Agency requesting the initiation of an anti-dumping (AD) and anti-subsidy investigation into imports of steel gratings produced in China or exported from China.

The Canadian Harmonized System (HS) code for the products in question is 7308.90.90, while the Canada Border Services Agency is now reviewing the application, and will make a decision before September 20 on whether to initiate an investigation.
