Ansteel develops production of 59R2 grooved steel rails

Chinese steel producer Anshan Iron and Steel (Ansteel) has announced that it has developed production of 59R2 grooved steel rails. Accordingly, Ansteel has become the first producer of the product in question in China.

This product will be applied in the first phase of the modern tram project to be built ahead of the 12th National Games to held in Liaoning Province in 2013. The grooved steel rails are made in line with European standards.
