Rebar offers from Turkey to Iraq soften

SteelOrbis has learned that steel producers in the Iskenderun region of Turkey are offering rebar to Iraq at $665-670/mt ex-works on actual weight basis and for June shipments, with prices indicating a decrease of $10/mt as compared to last week. The rebar price softening in Zaho in northern Iraq is considered as a major reason for this decline. Last week, rebar quotations in the Zaho region were at $755/mt ex-warehouse, while this week prices in the region have declined to the level of $745/mt ex-warehouse.
