Activity has continued to be sluggish in the Iraqi rebar market, while prices have softened slightly. This week, rebar prices in Zaho in northern Iraq have indicated a decline of $5/mt week on week to $695-700/mt ex-warehouse.

Meanwhile, rebar offers from Turkey's Iskenderun region to Iraq are standing at their local levels of $640-650/mt ex-works. Over the past month, the total rebar transaction volume from Turkey to Iraq has remained on the weak side amid low demand and ongoing financial shortages.
