SteelOrbis has learned that Italian mills' mesh quality wire rod export offers are currently standing at €525-535/mt FOB ($688-701/mt) on actual weight basis, for shipments in late January and early February. So far, no transaction has been heard in the market at this price level.
SteelOrbis has further learned that in the Italian domestic market mesh and drawing quality wire rod prices have decreased since last week and still stand at €520-530/mt ex-works ($681-694/mt) and €535-545/mt ex-works ($701-714/mt) respectively, both on actual weight basis.
