Bulgarian domestic rebar prices trend sideways

SteelOrbis has learned that in the Bulgarian domestic market rebar prices have remained unchanged as compared to last week at BGN 1,030/mt ($682/mt) CPT on actual weight basis, exclusive of 20 percent VAT.
 
Although rebar demand in Bulgaria has shown some recovery in line with improved weather conditions, local buyers are still adopting a cautious approach as regards new bookings, finding current prices to be on the high side.
 
In addition, the uncertainty in the European economy has been exerting a negative impact on the Bulgarian rebar market, as in many other European markets, causing Bulgarian buyers to adopt a wait-and-see stance in general.
