Quotations of
rebar,
merchant bar and
wire rod have remained unchanged as compared to the beginning of this week in the Bulgarian domestic market. Amid the strengthening of the US dollar against the euro and Bulgarian long steel mills' raw material purchases on dollar basis and their sales on euro basis, no significant price changes are expected from the local mills in the coming days. While long steel demand has remained slack in the local Bulgarian market, purchases have continued to be concluded in line with buyers' needs.
As for domestic quotations in the Bulgarian market,
rebar prices are at BGN 1,030-1,040/mt ($652-658/mt) CPT. On the other hand, prices of angles are at BGN 1,170-1,180/mt ($741-747/mt) CPT, while flat bar is being quoted at BGN 1,220-1,250/mt ($772-791/mt) CPT, depending on sizes, and NPU is being offered at BGN 1,180-1,190/mt ($747-753/mt) CPT.
