The sideways trend in the Egyptian flat steel market which appeared last month has continued to be observed, while demand has remained on the poor side. Meanwhile, Egypt-based steelmaker EZDK has announced an unchanged price policy for its May output hot rolled coil (HRC) quotations, keeping its offers at EGP 4,510/mt ($649/mt) ex-works. The prices in question have remained stable as compared to March levels.
