SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Egyptian producer EZDK (Al-Ezz Dekheila Steel Co.) has announced to customers that its September production hot rolled coil (HRC) offers are unchanged as compared to the company's HRC prices for August output and so are still standing at EGP 4,300/mt ($617/mt) ex-works. Market players state that, due to the ongoing political tensions in the country, demand levels are very weak.

On the other hand, HRC offers from EZDK to the Middle East for its October production are at the level of $580/mt FOB.
