Market sources indicate that Egyptian steelmaker EZDK has kept its December production hot rolled coil (HRC) offers unchanged as compared to its prices for November rolling, with offers remaining at EGP 4,300/mt ($624/mt) ex-works. Meanwhile, another local mill Kandil Steel has increased its cold rolled coil (CRC) and hot dip galvanized coil (HDG) export offers by $20/mt as compared to three weeks ago and the mill's offers are now standing at $720/mt FOB and $770/mt FOB, respectively. Market insiders state that demand for Egyptian flat steel products in the export markets is at good levels.
