WISCO establishes joint welding lab with Temo Welding Consumables

Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has announced that it has established a joint welding research laboratory together with Wuhan Temo Welding Consumables Co, which is one of China's largest shipbuilding and ship-repairing groups.

To date, Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. has successfully developed 20 high-performance welding steel products. The joint welding laboratory will profit from the know-how of both companies and will focus on improving welding technology development.
