WISCO sees sharp fall in net profit in Q1

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO) has announced in its quarterly report that it has recorded an operating revenue of RMB 12.89 billion ($1.98 billion) for the first quarter of the current year, down 26.58 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 30.258 million ($4.66 million), down 93.41 percent year on year.
 
In the given period, WISCO produced 2 million of hot rolled products and 1.47 million of cold rolled products.
