On March 17, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced that it is imposing an antidumping (AD) duty order on circular welded austenitic stainless pressure pipe from China, based on affirmative final determinations by the DOC and the US International Trade Commission (ITC).
On January 28, 2009, the DOC published its final determination in the antidumping duty investigation of circular welded austenitic stainless pressure pipe from China. On March 12, 2009, the ITC notified the DOC of its affirmative final determination of material injury to a US industry.
Accordingly, the determined weighted-average dumping margins are as follows:
