Uraltrubprom’s pipe output increases by 68 percent in Jan-Apr

During the first four months of 2010, the Russian electric-welded pipe producer Urals Pipe Works (Uraltrubprom) increased its output of pipes by 68 percent year on year to 70,400 mt.
 
In particular, during the period in question Uraltrubprom upped its output of pipes for oil pipelines by 1.9 times year on year to 46,200 mt and raised its output of section pipes by 40 percent to 24,200 mt.

Uraltrubprom's shipments of pipes in January-April this year increased by 57 percent year on year to 67,000 mt, including 44,120 mt of pipes for oil pipelines - up 1.8 times, and 22,900 mt of section pipes - up 28 percent, both compared to the same period last year.
